• Removable Partial dentures : Also called RPDs replaces one or many missing teeth. It is worn during the day and then kept in water or at a safe storage place at night. It sometimes comes with metal clasps which help in holding the denture in the mouth but it has aesthetic problems as these can be visible while eating or smiling. Moreover sometimes it does not fit properly or are loose thus causing problems while talking or masticating food. But yes these are economical and cheap for any class of people and get fabricated within a few days. 
• Bridges: A bridge is something which is used to replace the missing tooth which has teeth present on either side. The tooth present on either side of the missing space has to undergo cutting and then endodontic treatment and then get a crown on it then a Pontic or artificial tooth is joined to it and then cemented on the tooth which makes up the bridge. Without RCT also a bridge can be fabricated but there is a chance of failure of the bridge as the tooth becomes weak . Moreover, flossing is required so as to keep the hygiene maintained around the bridge. A bridge can replace more than one tooth at a time very easily but it’s a little costly then the dentures.

• Complete dentures : Complete dentures are nothing but the removable dentures which get a completely edentulous patient with teeth. Patients can get a CD fabricated after getting monitored for their bone support and ridge resorption . If the buccal mucosa and the ridges or the bone are in good status then a CD can be fabricated very easily . It helps with mastication of the food as are strong and durable. 
• Implants: Implants are the best option for getting the missing tooth replaced. It is very costly but a typical dental implant lasts as long as ten years . It can act the same as a natural tooth aesthetically and do all the functions of mastication properly. The implant is placed or drilled in the bone of the maxilla or mandible according to the missing teeth and then a crown is placed on it.
